Sustainable Fashion Series no.two
Sustainable Fashion
Series no.two
This series will talk about finding sustainable fashion in store.
Not everyone is gifted at sewing and thats totally okay! We need to make informed decisions in store to help reduce the mass production market. Finding sustainable options can be very difficult.
Companies are making small changes to be sustainable and that shouldn’t be unnoticed !
Guess has recently released t-shirts that are 100% organic cotton helping to reduce the micro plastics when washing as cotton is a natural fibre and can decompose at the end of its life cycle.
Guess also has other sustainable practices such as reducing 15% of its green house gas emissions which are all stated on there website.

Vero Moda also has a sustainable line called “AWARE”. In this line they use recycled nylon, organic cotton, tencel, recycled polyester and so much more. Vero Moda wants to create a sustainable fashion future through simple and comfortable pieces.

Reformation is another brand that prides itself in sustainability. Not only are their clothes cute and trendy without harming the environment, they also have a guide on their website to ensure our actions produce less damage as well. One example is providing a list of hotels that are sustainable.

By doing some research and supporting local brands as well that create unique custom pieces to you is a great way of helping make a small change for a big future.
