Travel Diaries Series no.one

Travel Diaries   Series no.one Traveling can be very expensive, time consuming and exhausting. It is an absolute privileged to go over seas and travel the world to see new and exciting things. However we don’t always have the expenses or even the time to plan these types of trips.   In this series we shall be exploring our own backyard! Why not travel around Victoria and see what our own little state has to offer. These trips only take a day or two to plan and can be very spontaneous.   In the first series we will go to visit the 12 Apostles along the Great Ocean Road.   It is a lovely 2 hour and 50 minute road trip from Melbourne CBD. On the road there are many stops you can take visiting old country towns and see some great ocean views. On our way to the 12 Apostles we had found a chocolatier called ‘Gorge Chocolates’. Passionfruit Cup Candles DIY’s and craft projects are definitely a fun way to kill time and get creative !   I like to experiment and find new ways to do the conventional crafty project. This DIY is one of them that I wanted to share with you! Due to the warmer weather we have had, my passionfruit tree has been growing like crazy. We’ve had an abundance of passionfruit lying on the ground, giving them to friends and family and enjoying them ourselves.   However, what do we do when we finish eating the fruit inside? The shell is sturdy and a beautiful dark purple in colour with a white inside. I had to find a way to enjoy the passionfruit season for longer before the season had finished for the year. So I had created these ‘Passionfruit Cup Candles’! Heres some loose instructions to follow : Cut passionfruit in half. Enjoy and eat contents of fruit. Place passionfruit on a lined baking dish hollow side up.   Dehydrate the passionfruit shells ...
